The Cambrian Lines Railcard

The Cambrian Lines Railcard costs just £5 and offers at least one third off most individual Standard Class rail fares on the Cambrian Lines.

Holders are entitled to purchase most Standard Class rail fares at a discount for journeys Pwllheli - Aberystwyth - Machynlleth - Newtown - Shrewsbury (including from / to all intermediate stations).

Obtaining a railcard

Cambrian Lines Railcards are on sale at the staffed railway stations of Aberystwyth (opening hours Mon-Fri 0620 to 1725, Sat 0620 to 1520) and Machynlleth (opening hours Mon-Sat 0745 to 1600, Sun 1030 to 1330).

Postal applications can also be accepted by sending the completed application form in the leaflet below, a stamped addressed envelope, two passport sized photographs, photocopy proof of residence and a cheque made payable to Arriva Trains Wales in an envelope marked Cambrian Lines Railcard Application, to:

• Ticket Office, Aberystwyth Railway Station, Station Yard, Alexandra Road, Aberystwyth SY23 1LH or
• Ticket Office, Machynlleth Railway Station, Heol y Doll, Machynlleth, Powys SY20 8BL.
