Discover destinations along the Cambrian mainline and Cambrian coastline with our inspiring new map designed by the creative Rachel at Starfish Design in Llandudno.

We understand the past couple of years have been difficult for passengers, communities and businesses but we feel the time is right to launch our new engaging map showcasing all the fantastic places to visit along our lines. From North and Mid-Wales to the West Coast our map represents a whole host of adventures in Wales. Take a ride on the four heritage railways accessible from stations on the Cambrian lines, visit the historical castles of Criccieth, Harlech, Powis and Aberystwyth or explore the enchanting Italianate style village of Portmeirion.

With the positive feedback we have already received we are currently investigating options to have the map printed. When we do we will keep you updated on our social media channels. But for now you can save the map to your phone or computer and zoom in to see all the exciting places to see on your next journey by train.

To complement our new map we have also designed a new logo for the Cambrian Lines Community Rail Partnership. The designs were whittled down to a selection of our favourites and the final logo was picked by the public via a poll shared on social media. We hope you agree that the new logo better represents the line.

If you’re looking for even more inspiration discover the Wales on Rails website which promotes tourism by using public transport throughout Wales. Wales on Rails celebrated their official launch recently in Cardiff Station with Minister for Economy Vaughan Gething and TV personality and historian Tim Dunn. We were pleased to support this innovative project along with other Community Rail Partnerships across Wales and Borders. The website maps out National rail, heritage rail and bus routes and features attraction cards with themes such as fantastic food, awesome adventures, heroic heritage, glorious gardens and obtainable outdoors.

There’s no better time to get back to the rails than now with the Great British Rail Sale. Get up to half the price off advance train tickets until 3rd of May 2022, for journeys between 25th April 2022 and 27th May 2022. Find out more here.
