A visit to Llwyngwril to take receipt of a new planter for the platform and meet long-standing volunteer Station Adopter Pam who took me to see the incredible Dragon themed yarn-bombing in the village.

The opening of the Pryce Jones Legacy exhibition and premiere of a new history film at Newtown Library offered a fascinating look at Newtown’s past. Funded through the Railway 200 Community Grant Fund, the project explores the legacy of Pryce Jones, the Cambrian Railway, and the town’s pioneering history through storytelling, film, and the work of local volunteers and organisations.

A Railway 200 community event in Machynlleth brought families together through train-themed activities, local railway heritage, and a colourful community artwork created for Pantperthog Village Hall.
