As part of the 2025 Year of Croeso, Visit Wales has launched a capital grant fund to help tourism attractions across Wales become more resilient to poor weather.

Grants of £5,000–£20,000 are available to support weather-proofing measures that improve business resilience and enhance the visitor experience, especially during periods of adverse weather.

Eligible businesses must be accredited (or willing to become accredited) through VAQAS, be small to medium-sized enterprises, and demonstrate that weather affects their operations or customer experience.

The fund covers up to 75% of costs (or up to £20,000 if this is less than 75% of the costs) and projects must be completed by 31 March 2026.

Applications close at 1pm on 22 May 2025.

Full terms and conditions can be found here Weather-Proofing Fund for Tourism Attractions 2025-2026.
