The Cambrian Railway Partnership are delighted to welcome Neil Scott as new Chair of the Partnership.

Neil has spent almost 25 years travelling the Cambrian Line and is aware of how important the line is to the communities it serves and the positive impact it has on the economic and social benefits across rural Wales.

As well as appointing a new Chair, the Partnership have also appointed a new Vice Chair, Graham Davis. Retired former signalman for Network Rail, Graham is an active member of the community in and around Llanidloes and with his knowledge and participation in local groups and projects, Graham will make a valuable contribution to the Partnership's activity plan and aims and objectives in connecting communities to their railway.

Last week Neil met with Partnership Development Officer, Claire Williams, at the Talyllyn Railway to discuss their exciting plans for the Partnership. Here they are in front of 'Dolgoch' - the engine that started railway preservation in 1951.
