Along the Cambrian Line you will find many community groups and organisations who promote, practice and encourage the principles of the circular economy to eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials and regenerate nature. This February we are supporting Repair Cafe Wales’ Fix it Feb campaign and we want you to join us for a greener, more sustainable future!

What is Fix it Feb?  It is a call to action: to reduce waste and keep items out of landfill. Repairing items is a simple way to positively impact the climate emergency by reducing carbon emissions associated with production and waste of new items. Repair Cafe Wales provides free sessions where volunteers help you fix everything from bicycles to jewellery.

Want to take part?

Pledge: Sign up on the Repair Cafe Wales pledge to let them know the communities along the Cambrian Line are on board.

The One-item Challenge: Find that one item you’ve been meaning to fix and make this the month you do it! We’ve compiled a list of Repair Cafes near stations along the Cambrian Line for you, all the way from Welshpool to Aberystwyth and Pwllheli and everywhere in between.

Volunteer: Whether you’re handy with a screwdriver, a sewing machine, or just want to help with tea and biscuits, there’s a role for everyone, so simply get in touch with your local Repair Cafe.
