My name is Deb and I am the new Cambrian Railway Partnership Development Officer, otherwise known as a Community Rail Officer, hosted by the marvellous PAVO.

I am one of several Community Rail Officers across Wales and borders. We promote and work with grassroots community groups and other organisations to support projects around the stations on the railway in and around Wales and borders.

I am covering the Cambrian Line and I am very lucky I will have lots of lovely seasides to visit. I have 120 miles of track and 34 stations to work with, from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and from Machynlleth to Pwllheli. We are very lucky to have all the wonderful narrow-gauge railways up and down the line as well. The Great Little Trains of Wales is a fantastic website for more information about these scenic little railways.

Over the next few weeks and months I am looking forward to exploring on the train and I will be travelling up and down the Cambrian Line. I have already started to contact groups and if you are a community group or organisation based near one of the stations along the Cambrian Line and would like to meet up with me and find out more about Community Rail, drop me an e-mail and I will come and visit you. My email is deb.justice@pavo.org.uk

Keep your eyes on our website, Facebook and Instagram as we will be announcing some new projects over the next year.
